The Charitable side of the Lodge of Chivalry
Despite being a smaller lodge, Chivalry punches well above its weight with Charitable work. We have recently supported Charities both in the UK and overseas as well as Hospitals. The work we do as an independent group has been recognised with letters of thanks from those who have received funds and is a source of huge pride for our members who regularly donate to the Lodge’s ‘Relief Chest’ so we can continue to support .
As well as Charities supported by our Lodge, Chivalry support appeals from the Masonic Charitable Foundation and echo their mission to be a force for good by providing support, care and services to Freemasons and their families in need, and supporting other charities to help the most disadvantaged in society. This has been achieved by supporting organisations including the Red Cross, Nottingham Breast Cancer Research Centre, The Hawksworth Older Peoples’ Support (HOPS) charity and Cranfield Trust to name but a few.
Additionally Chivalry has supported The London Freemasons with their pledge to raise £3 million for the London Air Ambulance so their helicopter fleet can continue to save lives. Freemasons help the most disadvantaged in society and it is part of who we are. We welcome you to join us in helping others.
